A contact lens exam is different from a regular eye exam. Determining which modality of contact lens is ideal for you can be a difficult process and requires more time spent by our eye doctor personalizing your fit
Compared to traditional hard or soft contact lenses, which interact with the cornea (the clear, front part of the eye), scleral contact lenses rest on the white part of your eye and vault over the cornea, therefore there is no interaction
