Lafont Eyewear - Paris
Picture it: Paris 1923. On a crisp Autumn day on Rue Vignon in the Madeleine district Louis Lafont opens a small boutique selling spectacles and hearing aids. His Art Deco spirit fueled the design inspiration for 3 generations, when his grandson Philippe transformed frames into a genuine fashion accessory. Philippe and his wife Laurence collaborated with major fashion houses Hermés and Chanel to create the classic shapes and distinct colors that make LaFont a Paris institution that now operates four boutiques and distributes to more than 40 countries.
